Join Study Leader Buck Beasom for a one-day workshop! Buck will explore three significant moments in transportation innovation over the last two centuries. This day-long event is comprised of three lectures focusing on canals, steam, and how a daredevil aviator changed the world.
10:30 AM: From Babylon to Buffalo - A Brief History of Canals (includes Q&A and discussion)
11:45 AM: Box lunch from Panera ($20 additional fee) or bring your own lunch. (Choose meal option at registration.)
1:15 PM: Steam Engines: Mastering Water's Third State (includes Q&A and discussion)
2:45 PM: Young Doolittle: America's Premier Aviator (includes Q&A and discussion)
4:30 PM (Optional) Join Buck at Salt Hill Pub for a drink - stay for dinner if you like! (This is not included with your registration; food and drinks at Salt Hill are your personal responsibility.)
Cost:
Members: $70 with lunch, $50 without lunch
Non-Members: $95 with lunch, $75 without lunch
