Dartmouth Veterans Day Retreat and Drill Ceremony

Dartmouth ROTC cadets will lower the US flag per military regulation in the execution of a formal Retreat Ceremony on the Dartmouth Green from 5:15 PM - 5:30 PM.

The 2024 Veterans Recognition Committee encourages all members of the Dartmouth community to join us on the Green, Monday, Nov 11th, for the Retreat & Drill Ceremony conducted by the Dartmouth ROTC at the campus flag, 5:15pm-5:30pm.

Between 4:45pm-5:00pm the Baker Bells will chime the following military hymns:

  • Army : The Army Goes rolling on
  • Marine Corps : The Marine Hymn
  • Navy : Anchors Aweigh
  • Air Force : The US Air Force
  • Coast Guard : Semper Paratus (Always ready)
