Dr. Rakesh K. Singh has had to postpone this presentation until next June.
Rakesh Singh, PhD, holds the department's Samuel M. and Janet L. Cohen Distinguished Professor in Pathology and Microbiology, where he also serves as vice chair of graduate education at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. His research focus is to understand the role of the tumor microenvironment in progression and metastasis.
Dr. Singh earned a bachelor's degree with honors in zoology in 1985, a master's of zoology in 1987, and a PhD in zoology in 1991, all from Banaras Hindu University in Varanasi, India. He completed postdoctoral training at the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. He joined UNMC in in 1995.
He will present: Targeting CXCR2 axis in Pancreatic Adenocarcinoma.
